FAQ

Why experience the “Tañon Strait Marine Experience”?
Snorkelling is a healthy, positive experience based learning activity that enables children, their parents/guardians and the wider community to immerse themselves in our spectacular marine environment.  The program deepens understanding of ecology, habitats and the importance of protected areas.

Where do I meet to take part in tour?

Our Snorkel Leaders will have a registration tent/table set up at Andi’s Talisay (front of Pacitas Beach Resort). See map. There will be a banner of Beautiful Moalboal.

Is there an age limit to enter the event?

Depending on the event, snorkel days are open to children 5 years and above. All children 12 yrs and under must be accompanied in water by an adult/parent.

What can I bring to the event?

Bring your own snorkeling gear (if you don’t have your own snorkeling equipment we can provide free of charge).

Do you need to have snorkeling experience?

You don’t need snorkeling experience but you do need to be confident in the water. Larger groups will be broken down to smaller groups with similar experienced snorkelers in each group – this allows more assistance to those who require it.

What if sea  / weather conditions are not suitable for snorkeling?

The team will monitor sea/weather conditions the week leading up to the snorkel sessions – if not suitable for snorkeling all participants will be contacted via email and text no less than 24 hrs before their booked snorkel tour to let them know that sessions have been re-scheduled or cancelled. Participants will be given option to re-schedule or receive refund.

Refund policy

The Team requires 24 hrs notice of cancellation for snorkel tours. There is no refund if less than notice 24 hrs given but can choose to have it re-scheduled.
